Ben has installed grassland habitat on his own property along with fence row shrub cover. He has been invited to speak at many community meetings about habitat and the importance of restoring our native landscapes. He is a longtime supporter and contributor to the goals of Pheasants Forever.  He initiated the PF website a few years ago.  Ben is also involved with the Calhoun Quality Deer Management group. Ben was instrumental in safeguarding the Stuart Lake property and helped assure the Marshall area of a place to enjoy the natural world undisturabed.
