Your local chapter of
Pheasants Forever was founded in April 1995, when a few interested
outdoor individuals met to form a chapter.
From the beginning, the main emphasis was to create useful, lasting
wildlife habitat to benefit not only the wild ring-necked pheasant, but
all wildlife in general. And all of this to be accomplished right here
in our own "back yards."
Since then membership has grown to over 300 individuals locally.
There are now 40 chapters in the state of Michigan representing almost
8,000 members, all interested in doing what they can to increase
habitat acreage.
